Walking tour: 21st Century Norwich

With Jon Boon, architect at Jon Boon Architects and Chair of the Norwich Society

This tour by Jon Boon will take you around Norwich’s well-known 21st Century architecture. The tour will start at Potters House Church, as prominent building at the corner of Dereham Road and Goldsmith Street, home to the Stirling Prize winning social housing designed by Mikhail Riches with Cathy Hawley. The route runs through Norwich Cathedral, into the Hostry and the Refectory, allowing a chance for refreshments and ends at The Forum in the centre of Norwich. 

Bio:

Jon Boon is an architect with over 30 years’ experience. Formerly Senior Architectural Partner at Ingleton Wood, he now runs his own practice specialises in sustainable and low-energy design. He is Chair of the Norwich Society and of the Planning Appraisal Committee of the Norwich Society.
