7/11 - 10/11: Max Bill Exhibition

7/11 – 10/11: Max Bill Exhibition

Max Bill (1908-1994), as one of the most important representatives of concrete constructive art, he places scientific paradigms and mathematical formulas in a strictly constructed context in his artwork.

The teachings of the Bauhaus school, where he studied, characterised his further career. His oeuvre combines elements of architecture, design, fine arts and applied art to create a harmonious interplay. In 1951, Max Bill, together with Otl Aichinger and Inge Scholl, founded the HfG Ulm, for which he designed the building himself and worked as a founding rector.

The exhibition is open to all, with an opening evening to be held on Thursday 7th November 6 -8pm.
