The Principal Architect of Atelier Bill architects has an impressive background of experience, whilst Norfolk born they have worked throughout Europe – in Germany, the Netherlands and Norway, a period in Japan before both Seattle & New York in America and more recently Iceland, prior to experience working with Foster & Partners in London working on the Boston Museum of Fine Art. During this time, they enjoyed the opportunity to work in the foremost architect’s practices, including projects with Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Stephen Holl, Tadao Ando and Munkenbeck + Marshall. Projects worked on have received RIBA awards for Passive Solar Design, and the Principal is registered as an Architect in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Iceland and Oregon USA. Whilst a student, the Principal Architect extensively researched a number of sustainable movements across Europe, from BauBiologie to Log ID’s work. In addition to having won a RIBA award for Passive Solar Design and a Viking / Archaeological Museum project. Additionally the Principal Architect is the registered “Pecha-Kucha” organiser for Norwich, which provides the opportunity to create interesting design-focused events.
